Yes. You can install ZERO yourself. ZERO comes with a detailed installation guide and you can also watch a video on how to install. Both can be found on this webpage.

You will only need to replace the filters once a year. Four filters in total: 1 pre-filter, 1 post-filter, and 2 RO filters. The filters have quick connection valves to ensure easy replacement without the need for tools.

ZERO is a small and compact water treatment system with a unique design. Regular tap water flows into ZERO by utilizing the pressure from your local water work. Once it is inside ZERO, the water flows through a pre-filter to remove smaller molecules such as chlorine, organic compounds, and heavy metals. Next, the water enters two Aquaporin Inside® Drinking Water Reverse Osmosis filters which includes nature’s own water filters, aquaporin proteins. In this way, all unwanted compounds are removed from your water before it enters a buffer tank with a capacity of three liters. Once you open your faucet, the water from the tank flows through a post-filter that clears the water from any potential smell and odor which could accumulate in the tank.
